Horror, Sex, and Sexuality

Reminds me of a short story I wrote that I couldn't find a home for. I tried for years. It was a good story. You know the kind that come to you and you sit down and write it in one sitting? Yeah, one of those. And editor after editor turned it down due to "extreme violence." Which is cool to hear from a horror editor but after the first five or six times, I got tired of it.

I kept it on my hard drive for years until an anthology came along and I knew it was the right one. I subbed it and they loved it, so they published it. The right place for the right story, you know?
