ROUND THIRTEEN (Thirteeeeeen!)*
Well, my relaxing bye week is over, so it's back to the stress-zone tonight.
We've already had one game this weekend, and it's good to see ajaye keeping up her tipping form from last week. Random useless statistic: this was the third straight year the Bulldogs lost their first match after the Queen's Birthday long weekend by 57 points.
Tonight, my boys take on Sydney at the SCG. First vs third and conditions look good, so we should hopefully get a decent game. The Eagles have a great post-bye record, but after winning 11 straight, I'm afraid we're due for a loss. I'd prefer it be this week against the Swans to next week in Perth against the Bombers, though. Flyin' Ryan's back in, as is Shuey. But Darling's gone (sigh) as is Barrass who would be taking Buddy Franklin. They're the only team to beat us this year. PLEASE let me get this tip wrong.
There's really only two good (on paper) matches this weekend -- tonight's, and the Sunday showdown between Geelong and Richmond. I see Dusty's back this week, which should make a certain Tiges fan very happy. eta: I assumed this was in Geelong being their home game, but it's at the MCG. Huh.
Mr. BF thought his Blues might stand a chance against Fremantle in Melbourne, then he saw his ins (Nick Graham) and theirs (Fyfe, Sandilands). He no longer thinks his Blues stand a chance against Fremantle. (Though I pointed out they are without Walters after his suspension).
