I remember going to Big Sur once and hiking around in the hills up there. There were notices everywhere warning of 'Sudden Oak Death' and me and mrs muppet were extra careful not to touch any oaks. We even laid our coats over one which had fallen across the path so we could climb over it without contracting sudden oak death.

Anyway, it turns out sudden oak death is a disease which causes oaks to die suddenly, and nothing at all to do with hoomins or muppets.
