I know the feeling. However, I'm the type who would give up sleep entirely if something was invented to replace it. Give me a pill that does all the bodily repair stuff sleep does without the need to actually sleep, and I would do it. Also, if we can eliminate the feeling of sleepy, that would be great.

Sounds like a sci-fi novel involving an experiment. :greenie

Yeah, at least 2 or 3 a day. The comment above about wanting to do without sleep reminds me of one of my bosses. Workaholic to the max, and he tried so hard to impress upon us that we should do the same. He was always bragging how he would come in after work, even at 3 in the morning. Company man all the way, they could do no wrong. One of several reasons we didn't get along - that, and I wasn't a "team player." Oh well. He reminded me of Col Klink of Hogan's Heroes.

(nothing personal, Deadeyemouse).:D

That's when you tell them, with deep sadness in your tone, "I am so sorry you have nothing else in your life but this job. I'm sure when you die they'll put something on your headstone about how great of a worker you were."

Thanks; actually, I can't tell you what I would have liked to have said to him as this is a family forum. (grin) After the company folded he was cut with everyone else.

Waiting for you to wake up. Wants some pie to go with your morning coffee?

I'm not sure if I can, Westy. The forum has some quite strict duplication rules.

Hey Girl! Been under a rock or what?
Nah - Just real life stuff...

Father-in-law had surgery - His appendix ruptured, and he walked around in pain for a week, before getting an appt. to see a Doctor -by then, his body was full of toxins, so he's still in the hospital...

One of my BFFs had "simple surgery" to remove kidney stones, and she coded once she came out of "recovery" - She's fine now, but it was hairy for a minute there.

Real life can be a female dog! :flag:

Although that could have been handy if any of them had been stuck down a well.
