hey all - hope things are going well and yo' having fun! I'm wondering if you guys have any ideas on how to get my ring back from under the bed. I was putting the mattress pad back on my bed and somehow the ring jumped off and my mattress is too heavy to lift. I tried w. a broom too nothing. Thx and here's :Cake:s. :)

Any luck? Sometimes wire hangars can get to places that a broom handle might not - if you can untwist one with pliers and straighten it out.

There are long handled pick-up tools with rubber grippers on the end for picking up things without bending over; I'm sure you can find them on the web. Good for us old farts.

I'm not sure anything makes sense (or cents, for that matter) anymore but for God's sake I'm trying my best to not be serious. :flag:

I found the ring. It was behind the frame of the bed, so it was hard to see. I did it w. my flashight. The only bad thing was with my back, I strained it stretching for it and it hurt a lot for 4 days, but it's okay now. thx much.

PS Did you hear about the poet who took a turn for the verse?
Did you hear about the too-graphic lady who took a turn for the curse?
Did you hear about the pocketbook sales lady who took a turn for the purse?
Did you hear about the short-tempered lady who took a turn for the terse?
Did you heaar about the doctor who took a turn for the nurse?

I wish we had like buttons - esp. when we have so little time. But a hey, I saw that would be nice, and ... so often we can't tell if we don't get direct acknowledgement. Not trying to turn this into some other social app.

Hey, Suz! Gonna have to think of another rhyme for nurse. I'll get back to ya with another line.

Nathan, we do have something similar to "like" buttons. See those stars at the bottom left of each post? You can tap on those if you want to applaud someone's post. You can leave comments too if you like.

Blessings,

Yes - and leave a comment or not. I use that, but not quite the same. I think it's infrequently used. Maybe it feels like too much work. I'm not sure.

I'm more "hands on" than that: I wanna be able to reach through the monitor, grab 'em by the neck, and shake 'em 'til their teeth rattle.

I'm pretty sure that would put an end to a lot of internet trolling..

What'a ya think? Too much?
