Yeah, green fuzzy things usually gather at the back of the fridge - hasn't someone put a lazy susan in a fridge, just spin it around. We picked up a pup off the street a few years ago, she was pregnant. Still have 2 of her pups. Chi mixes.

Rudolph is currently playing on the radio. We have all the direction up and the tree, but for whatever reason, I'm just not that into the spirit yet. It usually occurs after I visit someplace that's very festive.

Part of the fun of the holiday is re-writing Christmas carols - I remember an album by someone I don't remember about "twisted" carols: "The restroom door said Gentlemen it must have been a gag..."

"The 12 Pains of Christmas" is a funny spoof of "The 12 Days of Christmas."

In God I dwell, especially in Eugene OR
Sat Nam! (Literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

:hi: and pie to all.

For the first time in 5 years, we have put up a tree and (indoor) lights. Last few years, we've had to travel to tend to family, except the one year I was dealing with surgery. So we are in a very grateful spirit here. And despite being a Sikh, I do love the more religious Christmas music: Handel, Bach and Joy to the World.

Blessings,

Siri Kirpal

T’was the night after Christmas
and all through the dungeon
Santa came in
wielding a truncheon.

The miscreants were hung
by the chains on their wrists
“You were on top of
my new naughty list.

You were good at the last
week I suppose
then you made fun
of Rudolph’s red nose,

But throughout the year
your behavior was bad
you just didn’t mind
your Mom or your Dad,

but topping it all
you might as well rot
I did come as you wished
Milk and cookies you forgot.”

"Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.":D
