Good morning, closet creepers.

Like half the town, I've spent the weekend in the abyss of internetlessness. (Phone lines were down due to a fault.) It was miserable beyond description. They (the phone company) told us 24-48 hours. I've heard this before. Remember in December when my line was out of order for 23 days? I had that sinking feeling. But the line was up after 49 hours. Clearly the Boonies functions better than the so called 'World Class' city of Johannesburg.

Or maybe it's because, in a small town, we know where the technicians live.

Did you just tell them you have Ted on speed dial? I find that generally clears things up.
