I wrote -2100 words this week!
That's how much I cut out of my manuscript in my last rounds of edits before I declare it done, and it goes on sale in November. My goal is to get under 100k words, because over 100K is Felony Misuse of The English Language, whereas under 100k is a mere misdemeanor.

I'm almost done with the latest rounds of edits of my novella but I'm having difficulty finding a place to send it to.
ETA: This is my weekend's ice cream efforts thus far. Tastes amazing, still not scoopable. Non-dairy, vegan frozen confection without processed sugars or soy products. I use coconut milk, dates, and cocoa powder.

Hi everyone!
Amazing job so far. I've managed to write about 1200 words for my romance story and about three hours of research for my fantasy story. Since it is only Tuesday so far, I'm feeling quiet optimistic. And I'm loving the Vegan ice cream- I'm always trying to find good recipes!

I'm glad the thread helps. I can't take credit for starting it, just for keeping it going
I "wrote" another negative 1500 words this week. Didn't quite trim things down below the 100K mark, but I'm close enough, and it's time to be done.
Despite heavy wildfire smoke in our valley I managed to get the advance reader copies out and the book is up for pre-order!
Now to write the next one. By the time the sale goes live on Nov 1, I hope to have the first three chapters of the second book ready as a reader magnet to encourage people to sign up for my mailing list.
