A timely warning about an impending volcano eruption prompts Prince Veer on a quest to find the components of a key that can prevent it. If it meant travelling through the Kingdoms of Saptavarsha who saw him as nothing more than a barbarian and finding a way to work with a virago of his estranged wife, it was a small price to pay. But will he find it in his heart to forgive the people responsible for the death of his childhood friend for the sake of greater good?
Princess Chandrasena has lived the life of an exile for seven years since her assassination attempt of her husband. Now, she is forced to accompany him. But will she be able to keep the secret she has guarded for so long, from his too perceptive gaze? Or keep her distance when he seemed to want to bend the rules of the game?
Together they journey through the mystical land of the subcontinent where old rivalries, political intrigues and myth dog their footsteps; prompting them to consider past events in new light, while keeping new monsters that come to light at bay.
