No horns, for starters...I'm fairly sure it wasn't the type of cow featured in that pic, though.
I think that illustrates the dangers of herding from a helicopter. Using horses and dogs suddenly seem much safer bets. Or at least less fiery ones.
Then the pilot should make an effort to stay a little higher, or a little further back. It's not like cows are known for their jumping prowess. Cattle charging a helicopter, sure, but regardless of stories about jumping 'over the moon', if a cow can jump up and reach your helicopter, I'm betting you're flying too low.These cattle stations are pretty big.
Hands up everyone who thought that the cause of the helicopter crash was because the cow jumped over the moon.
