Hello!

I've read differing opinions on this - when nudging an agent, should you mention other requests? If so, should you mention which agency?

I understand this is a bit debated - it helps to indicate that others are interested, but it could also seem like a ploy.

What are your thoughts?

Requests, no. Unless you've given them an exclusive, it's generally assumed you'll have other requests. You do want to let them know if you have an offer on the table, though, and in that case, give them a time frame to answer. But if you're just nudging because they say 'nudge if you haven't heard in X days' and it's x+1, then just nudge.

Some agents want to know if their are other requests out. They say so on their websites. If the agent in question is one of those, then yes, mention it. Otherwise don't.
