Those are pretty old shows. There is a reasonable shot many of these militiamen grew up with them and may still fondly recall the music.

Better to use more recent shows like "My Little Pony" or "Spongebob Squarepants" or "Yo Gabba Gabba".

Yeah, but "Barney" has this gem. It's enough to strike fear in the bravest hearts.

I'd give 'em five minutes before they surrender unconditionally...max.

Not to mention a number of headlines refer to them simply as "armed protesters". They're freaking domestic terrorists.

That's fantastic. "Armed protesters". What's an armed protester when he's not threatening to shoot law enforcement?

A law-abiding, God-fearing, Constitution-loving, American citizen.

True. There is a wonderful sequence in the show "Rescue bots" where the robots... without any tune or rhythm, attempt to sing Rock-a-bye baby, that could drive one insane. Or Dinosaur train's theme songs or inner show songs... I'm a hungry hungry herbivore gets stuck in your head for days. (We watch a lot of PBS), or endlessly repeat mall christmas muzak or Alvin and the chipmunks songs.

The Smurfs, "La-La- lalalala...." on infinite loop. Not only is it irritating enough on it's own, it burrows into your head and is almost impossible to get out.

Agorism FTW!
"It's a Small World, After All." I swore long ago that if anybody made me take that ride again I'd go postal.

Can we have a serious blizzard? A flood? Carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty vent...actually, that would not be too hard to arrange. I'm tired of these fools. They are neither heroes nor martyrs, and they deserve to go out in Jackass-style humiliation. As long as they don't kill anyone but themselves.

So, when does one cross the line from "armed protester" to "domestic terrorist"?
I'm guessing that when one shoots innocent people (or blows then up) to induce terror--in service to some sort of radical ideology--one has has clearly crossed that line.

These turkeys are clearly engaged in illegal activity, however. Armed protesters, sure. Also, armed criminals.

I personally don't object to "domestic terrorist," given their clueless attempts to justify their stupidity. There's wiggle room to be sure. How about "armed insurrectionists"?

Whatever the label, however, they're still a dangerous crowd of dumbasses. I think an armed occupation of a Federal building is sufficient for a military-style response. Though I guess there's also sense in cutting them off completely and simply waiting them out.

The situation is getting media attention, but it would probably be better if it wasn't. Not much to do for that now.

I'm guessing you won't be joining the Redneck lives matter organization.

Even Rednecks don't believe in that.

"Hold my beer and watch this!"

There was also the event a few years ago where a 4-year old took a rifle and accidentally shot his infant sister, the parents just shrugged and said "Well, these things happen..."

I'm just hoping King Kong Bundy isn't involved. The WWF doesn't need another scandal... ;)

I wonder if folks would be calling for death by carbon monoxide poisoning in these other cases.

These guys took over some unoccupied location, in the middle of nowhere to protest what they believe is a threat to their way of life. They got what they wanted, media attention.

And this is domestic terrorism.

Meh, I don't really think they deserve to be killed or the like. But they are card-carrying idiots, imo. The "beliefs" that spawned this event are idiotic. And sorry, but breaking into a federally owned facility--vacant or not--with weapons constitutes something more than just a "protest."

Sorry, I didn't realize these whack-job's imagined slights by the Federal government was the equal of a history of racism, mistreatment, and genocide.

Given this new view. Yes. I strongly advocate filling the cabin with carbon monoxide in this case and not in those you picked out.

And I think it crosses the line into domestic terrorism when they demonstrate their arms and claim more than willingness to take the lives of law enforcement and anyone and everyone else that doesn't take their side.
