They encapsulate the spirit of Christmas in this house, that's for sure.

Had not heard of them before but I love them, especially the eyes.

Tolerance and respect for others' traditions is a wonderful thing.

I'm batting 3 for 3 on visits to AW and Krampus being at the top of the page this week.

Wheeee! Another Krampus! Hmm.... don't know if the current one is my favourite (I think I liked the other one more).

I hope everyone has been good! Krampus is gathering his switches for whipping the feet of the naugty kinder!

There was a Krampus sighting this last weekend. Actually, it was a KROWD of Krampus: a group is trying to bring the tradition to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, and the European holiday market where they appeared is about two miles from where I live. AND I MISSED IT! There was a nice article on the Minnesota Public Radio page with some great pictures.

I do have experience stuffing children into onesies. I assume it's easier getting them into a sack.

I like the ones where they're buddies the best. Those two look ready to TCB.

Eee! A new Krampus image! I haven't seen this one before; lovely!

oooh! New krampus pic! Awesome!

I like the green Krampus, it goes so well with the red suit! Have to say, the one with the really long tongue, who looked about ready to lick the little boy was kind of creepy.

But, to all those who are complaining about this or that image:
Remember, the Admin could follow the commercial Christmas tradition and sell off that prime advertising space to tacky commercial interests for the month. (All sales, all the time!)

Re: the Mari Lwyd - imagine a tree, filled with little horse-skulls. With festive red bows. I bet there's a goth-shop somewhere that could get you some. For that matter, look for toy zombie-horses.
