    Shorties Contest $$$

    Over at Thinkerbeat we are pleased to announce two kinds of competitions this round!

    Shorties - these are just what you've been seeing already, short story contests. The winning stories will go into an anthology at the end of the year.

    Reels - these will be contests for the best short script for an animation. The winning script will be animated! If you are interested in joining the animation team, send us an email today.



    Thinkerbeat Shorties Contest

    Deadline: July 15th
    Fee: Free
    Format: Entries should be fiction, between 1,000 and 3,000 words in length.
    Prizes: First place, US$25; Second Place: US$15; Third Place: US$10 (payable to your PayPal account)

    Judges

    Adam Baxter
    L S Hicks
    Stephanie Buosi

    Take the time to read something that these judges have written to get a better idea of what their standards and styles are.


    Thinkerbeat Reels Contest

    Deadline: July 31th

    It doesn't mention animation in the description of the Reels contest on the Thinkerbeat site. Are you still interested in scripts for animation?
