I am beginning what I will think of as "collage of poems". This will be different than "collage poetry".
In the introduction to one of Canada's finest lyric poets, Fred Wah, Louis Cabri stated that "Modern poets who use the collage technique often aspire to lift details from different contexts to form a cultural whole". An example would be apart from Wah, Robert Duncan.
It would not be my intent to write collage poetry as such, but rather a series of poems that would form a "collage" when taken as a whole.
What do you think of this? Have you ever read or written a series of poems meat to be a "collage".
What advice can you give me?
