Hearthside Food Solutions Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Egg

Hearthside Food Solutions of Woodridge, IL is voluntarily recalling 7-Eleven ‘The Italian Job’ sandwiches, which have an incorrect information panel label that does not declare eggs as an allergen. The product has been removed from sale. In total, 1038 sandwiches were distributed to 362 7-Eleven stores in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

The product bears the sell-by date of “0523”. The sell-by date is located the top center part of the back label. The UPC for ‘The Italian Job’ Sandwich is 5254868635. The recalled UPC code is 5254859970. An example of the recalled label is included with this release.

Coolhaus is voluntarily recalling its Dairy Free Horchata Frozen Dessert Sandwich because it may contain milk. The Coolhaus Dairy Free Horchata Sandwich was distributed in grocery stores nationally. The voluntary recall is limited to one SKU, the Coolhaus Dairy Free Horchata Frozen Dessert Sandwich, and does not extend to other Coolhaus Dairy Free sandwiches or pints. The only affected Coolhaus UPC is UPC #0085191600365.

The Dairy-Free Horchata Frozen Dessert product is sold in a 5.8 oz single serve package with a “Best By” date of 06182020, 08012020, 08252020, 10082020 or 10262020.

New Seasons Market is recalling approximately 60 pounds of Bacon Shallot Potato salad because it may contain undeclared eggs. The mislabeled Bacon Shallot Potato salad was sold at three New Seasons Market locations in Portland, Ore. (Mountain Park, Hawthorne and University Park) from the deli case, per costumers’ order. The salad was packed into plastic deli containers, with a shelf life of five days from purchase. Product was sold with the Pack on Dates of May 16, 2019 to May 21, 2019, and all Sell By Dates up to and including May 26, 2019.

ALDI has recalled Bakers Corner All Purpose Flour sold at retail locations in the Northeastern United States due to a potential presence of E. coli.


This product was sourced from an ADM Milling Co. production facility in Buffalo, N.Y. and was distributed to select ALDI stores in 11 states: Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and West Virginia. The Bakers Corner All Purpose Flour affected by this recall is sold in a 5 lb. bag with a best if used by date of Dec. 2, 2019, lot code L18A02B and the following UPC code: 041498130404. ALDI has removed this product from store shelves in these states.

Townsend Farms, Inc. has notified Costco that a recent FDA test indicated that a domestic conventional frozen blackberry product manufactured by Townsend Farms, Inc., may be contaminated with Hepatitis A. Townsend Farms, Inc. used the domestic conventional frozen blackberry to manufacture the Kirkland Signature Three Berry Blend product with Best By Dates between February 16, 2020, and May 4, 2020. Costco only sold the product in stores located in San Diego and Los Angles, California and Hawaii

Frito-Lay today issued a limited voluntary recall of 7 3/4 oz. bags of Lay’s Lightly Salted Barbecue Flavored Potato Chips because they may contain undeclared milk ingredients. The recalled products have both a “Guaranteed Fresh” date of 27 AUG 2019 and a nine-character manufacturing code that includes the numbers “29” in the second and third position (example: x29xxxxxx) listed below the “Guaranteed Fresh” date. These numbers can be found on the right side of the front of the bag. In addition, the recalled bags will also have a UPC code of “28400 63242” listed on the bottom left side of the back of the bag.
