Currently finishing Black Wings Beating by Alex London. Started pretty slow, took about one third to get to the actual inciting incident, but it's well written overall.

Hardcover: THE FOREST QUEEN by Betsy Cornwell
Kindle: GRAVE MERCY by Robin LaFevers
Serious Audiobook: SKYWARD by Brandon Sanderson
Audiobook to fall asleep to: JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL by Susanna Clarke (not YA)

+ a beta read

THE GHOST HUNTER'S DAUGHTER was awful. I read THE LOST COAST in there and loved it: queer cast, atmospheric, witches, and my kind of beautiful prose.

Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell (!!!!)

How's that book? The "Carry on my Wayward Son" song that's used in Supernatural, came to mind immediately, and the summary mentions a vintage car and "dragons, vampires, skunk-headed things with shotguns" so it sounds kind of like Supernatural. Now I'm curious!

Rereading it before reading the sequel. But I’m sad to say I’m not getting into it as much this time around.

Hardcover: MIDDLEGAME by Seanan McGuire
Kindle: OF ICE AND SHADOWS by Audrey Coulthurst
For Review: BONDS OF BRASS by Emily Skrutskie
Serious Audiobook: BOOK OF A THOUSAND DAYS by Shannon Hale
Audiobook to fall asleep to: JONATHAN STRANGE AND MR. NORRELL by Susanna Clarke (not YA)

BoaTD is a favorite reread, inspired by my getting a sleek gray cat I am in love with. After all, the cat basically saves everything
Loving BoB.
Not loving Middlegame :(

But pretty much everything is battling the fact that I got a PS4. So close to my 100 books and I found a distraction.

Just started Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner.

I thought there was going to be ghosts, but I'm now fairly certain there won't be. (Still good though!)

Also started I Am Number Four. Don't think I'll be able to get past 100 pages. Feels more middle grade than young adult.

I just finished reading The 100 by Kass Morgan.

I've binge watched the show and fell in love with it. When I saw it was a book, I had to read it. It's much different than the show, but I still really liked it.

They Both Die at the End - Adam Silvera

Being warned that you're going to die the day you're going to die (but not told how) is a really cool concept, but 36 pages in and I'm finding the book to be a bit boring. I usually read at least 50-100 pages of any book I pick up before abandoning it, so hopefully it'll get better before then.

I don't read much YA, but I started Lois Lowry's classic The Giver a day or two ago and am really enjoying it.
