The contract on my third (and final) book with PublishAmerica/America Star Books will expire this year. FINALLY. (Yeah, don't comment on the fact that I was with them through 3 books.) The first two book contracts stated clearly that if neither party pursued a renewal, the rights were automatically turned back over to me, and the contract was done. Beautiful. Those two books are mine again. This third contract requires that I inform the publisher I do not wish to renew the contract (it does not state that any confirmation or agreement from the publisher is required).

What I'd like help on is how to word my letter, other than the phrase that keeps running through my mind, "Give it back! Give it back! It's mine!" I want to remain professional and thorough until this thing is over, and just need advice on how to ensure I'm doing exactly what needs to be done.
