I don't know the Excel or the area though, so I can't really suggest a venue. Maybe some London savvy person will help out

My wife and I and a friend of ours are going. We arrive at the main hotel on Wednesday afternoon and leave Monday late afternoon.

Oh, how I wish I could go, but it's not in the cards this year.

I'm looking for someone to help me run a masterclass at Loncon. What I need is a recent victor from the query wars i.e. someone who has reasonably recently landed an agent, preferably a US-based agent. The idea of the masterclass is for agented writers to share their tales from the front-line to writers who are in the early stages of querying. It will take an hour of your time and undying glory awaits those who volunteer (well maybe not, but beer/wine of your choice does)

As I mentioned in the Hugos thread, I'll be in London with my fiancee (who will be my wife by then, whee), but she doesn't have much interest in SFF. So I'll likely be wandering the con by my lonesome.

Anyone going to be on any panels? I'll try and show to those to support my fellow AWers. I'm going to be on a couple of panels about video games, but for the rest of the con I'll be free to roam and enjoy.

I am provisionally on a couple on Saturday (Agent Hunting with Waylander and Wes Chu, and Gender and Genre)
