They probably employed a tailor with a fire-proof suit to measure up the dragon!

I'm saddened that the art of sewing something inside out will soon only be remembered as an ancient skill, along the lines of henge building, extracting Tyrian purple and using the stairs.

I use the stairs.all the time. How else would I get to the 5th floor? Ride a dragon? Those cost too much.

Really - what's the point of a "lifelike" dragon toy if I can't rain fiery doom upon my enemies? For that kind of money, I expect flames! And working wings!
