Yes, I've been to that recently and now often as I check the names that do contact me.
I don't have to check your list or P&E to know that anyone (agent or publisher) who's contacted you by virtue of your CreateSpace book is a preditor. Legitimate agents and publishers are drowning in submissions and don't go trawling through lists of sef-published books looking for more.
The stories you hear about self-published books getting picked up by legitimate publishers and agents? Those are books that sold at least 5,000 copies and more often 10,000 or more.
It's the scammers who go through the lists looking for potential marks. You've unfortunately already been stung by one. Sure, check P&E on anyone who contacts you if you want to assure yourself that you aren't missing a legitimate opportunity, but unless you've sold thousands and thousands of copies of your CS book and you have a really good (that is, low-number) ranking at Amazon, it's a virtual guarantee that none are legit.
Instead, do as others upstream have suggested. Research how publishing really works, and then go through the hoops necessary for querying legit agents. If you don't secure an agent, then submit to legit publishers who accept submissions directly from writers.
In the meantime, write your next book.
Publishing isn't 'Field of Dreams'. Just because you write it doesn't mean legitimate agents and publishers will come to you. You have to submit to them.
Good luck!
