Shimmer # 17 free for Black Friday

I caught this on a Tweet by Beth Wodinski -- the new issue of Shimmer is available for a free download now until tomorrow night at midnight (11/29/13).

I've read all the free stories on the Shimmer site and it's great to have the current issue. My favorite so far in #17 is the opening story.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to subscribe to all the venues I most want to contribute to, including the ones that present full issues online for free, in the interest of supporting them. Clarkesworld will increase the number of stories it buys when its subscriber base reaches the next increment.
