I think that's what it's called. You know, the index, and blah blah blah. Has anyone done it before?

Do you know what order it goes in? I'll check some published books but wondering if anyone has any tips etc.

What do you call the section that is for further information? I can't think of it. I don't mean works cited, but lists of things for a reader who wants more information, (books and websites).

Yeah, I don't know what I'm doing. :)

I don't have a copy of my non-fic book on hand, but I think the section for more information was called (imaginatively) 'For More Information'. I did the index myself, by working through the page proofs and writing down the headings (and pages!) on separate index cards. I did a reasonable job, but next time I'll get a prof. indexer.

ETA: Index is the last section.

In God I dwell, especially in Eugene OR
Sat Nam! (Literally "Truth Name"--a Sikh greeting)

Resources is what I call it.

Okay, here's the list in order:

Appendices
Notes (in lieu of footnotes)
Glossary
Bibliography
Resources
(I put my acknowledgments at the end)
Index (neither of my publishers wanted to deal with one, so mine don't have this)

Hope that helps.

Blessings,

Siri Kirpal

Yep. "For more information," "Resources," even "Further Reading" all work as titles... and more we're not thinking of.
