I thought there was a thread but I see neither one. They're a UK publisher. I know they pay advances too. The covers are great IMO.

I submitted in July and nudged just recently and they said they are still considering it and will get back to me on it, so they are responsive.

Anyone else with some experience with them?

I got a detailed personal rejection from them for my YA novel. It took just over 6 months and a nudge from me.

Twenty7 Books

New adult imprint of Bonnier Publishing (who also do Hot Key Books), apparently specialising in debut authors and mass-market fiction only - they currently have an open submissions period going on: https://twenty7books.wordpress.com/

Anyone have any experience of Hot Key or Bonnier previously? How are these people?

Here's a link to the existing thread on Bonnier Publishing. Not much there, I fear.

Odd that the new imprint doesn't have its own website yet - only the WordPress blog. I guess it's just that new.

I sent them my MG manuscript AGES ago and never heard back. So I'm assuming they aren't interested.

OR they just haven't gotten around to reading it. But that seems optimistic at this point.

Yes and no.

I did some freelance copyediting for them. PM if need be.

Certainly I enjoyed the work and the editor I worked with.

The book was great. I hope the rest of the series comes out soon.

They're an imprint of Bonnier. AW forum for that one is here: https://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?280202-Bonnier-Publishing-Hot-Key-Books I'm sure someone will be along to move this. Anyway, I queried Hot Key a while back and never had a response, which I guess means it was a silent "no thanks."
