It's almost August, and that means we will need a new book to discuss! This month we are looking for fantasy novels. Try to pick something that's easy to find and not too expensive (for example, nothing out-of-print or only in hardcover).
Also, I'm going to ask for books by female authors. There have been a lot of good discussions in this forum about the visibility of women in fantasy and sci-fi, and I'd like to see more female authors discussed in the book club (out of the 50-something novels that have been featured in the book club only about ten of them were written by women). I know there are lots of great fantasy novels written by women, so please suggest your favorite!
