I have been on this board for a while, but I haven't participated much before. I’m looking for a partner to swap beta-readings.

I have a 70K novel, a mystery set in St. Louis, MO, about an anthropology professor drawn into a murder case involving a practitioner of African-American folk magic. Although it does involve the use of magic, it is not a paranormal, and the magic is subtle and ambiguous.
