We've got a lady here in OkieCity called 'Sassy Mama'... she made a gourmet grilled cheese the other day. Ol' Boy HAD to have one... and I did, too... so we went out and got the goods and made 'em. OMG, people. Fat Daddy Grilled Cheese linky... you're welcome.

Aaaarrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!! We don't have anything like that Texan garlic bread here!!! This is cruel and wicked! And now I want one so much.

You can always try!
It looks like thick-slices off a largish French loaf, with butter and garlic (or garlic butter) sandwiched with a mix of three cheeses.
I'm sure having the bread pre-garlicked is helpful, (does any place near you sell loaves of garlic bread to re-heat?) but not necessary, especially if you just want to try as an ingredient in a sandwich.

Give it a go, Gail!

Hahaha. No wonder I've come to like this place, it's full of off-the-wall people (like me).

Porlock, I have no idea what you mean.

Our one and only supermarket does sell garlic bread but the French loaf kind - long, thin loaves. I think I'm going to experiment by making my own garlic bread. Thanks for the encouragement. :)

*goes off to hunt garlics in the veldt*

Question: you think he's lion? Also, if the zebra and the wildebeest eat the garlic, will their bad breath drive away the lions?

If he's not lion, I guess he wouldn't be a cheetah.

Notice the way some people just lope in here, post puns, and then lope out again?

Yeah. I'm anti-lope.

Ugh. That was a croc.

I got a package at my front door the other day. Totally unexpected. It had a big DANGER sticker on it. In smaller print it read, KEEP AWAY FROM GEDDONS.

UPS and FedEx packages stay on your porch longer than 12 seconds before someone grabs 'em?

Geddon wit ye! :greenie

We don't have any Porch Pirates here on the Ol' Estate... probably has something to do with the Remington 870 I carry around with me...

It's not the pump scattergun. It's the thing on your neck.

I don't see any fang marks on her neck so I guess it's not Dracula. Now that I think about it though, what's that dark shape behind her?
