Jill asked Jack to climb up the hill,
hoping secretly he'd take a spill.
His fortunes she'd gain
once Jack had been slain
leaving her the pail in the will.
Little Bo-Peep had one black sheep
who looked in the mirror and started to weep.
Where wool should have been
not a hair could be seen--
someone shaved the poor sheep in his sleep.
In the bookstore just off of the square
browsed a man with a wool wig for hair
As he selected some Proust
while an old tomcat moused,
a rat claimed his wig for its lair
This has got far too grim--lighten up!
Write of rainbows, a kitten, a pup!
With glitter galore
and some chocolate--then more!
We'll perform it on Broadway--Yup yup!
Let's sing a nice song about love
with neither a push nor a shove.
Cuz the birds and the bees
make love with such ease
We're surrounded by lovey-dove-dove.
