On the contrary, expatbrat. I can only speak for myself (and I'm probably one of those freaks you refer to), but it sounds like you're not taking shortcuts. You're going to a lot of trouble to send out a clean manuscript with things spelled right. You're putting in the effort.

You have the extra hurdle of being dyslexic. Not everyone has that hurdle. Some people just don't want to bother.

I'm just recommending that people put in the effort. I think it's to the writer's advantage and it gives you an edge over the people who don't put in the effort. Obviously, expatbrat makes and effort to send out an excellent manuscript or expatbrat wouldn't have so many publishing credits.

If you don't take that trouble, in many cases the manuscript won't get read. A misplaced comma here and there isn't going to matter. Glaringly obvious errors in every sentence, however, make a manuscript hard to read. If it's hard to read, the reader won't bother. They have 500 more to read and the day is long.
