So the Christmas time came and every show and their uncle is on hiatus for 2 weeks or more. I've ran out of ideas what to watch next. What I'm looking for is a

A NOT ADDICTIVE SHOW!

I can't afford to watch it for 12 hours a day, but there's nobody here to stop me from it :p

So do you know of any good comedies? Or light stories. Those are usually those that let me watch 1 episode and go about my business.

I've watched all those popular hits already. HIMYM, TBT, 2AHM etc. I've watched a ton of these things, so if you can recommend something, post a list of your likes, chances are I've already seen a big percent of them :D

Thanks!

Seen Community (two seasons or so before it got too absurd for me).

It's Always Sunny i Philadelphia I've seen one season, it has to be one of the weirdest 'comedies' I've watched. I didn't know what was up with it, was it funny, sad or creepy :D

For light, comedic, easy to walk away things, I would think something like Castle, which is funny, but episodic might work for you. Have you tried New Girl and The B in Apartment 23?

Ben & Kate and the Mindy Project I haven't tried, but now will. Thanks!

New Girl, up to date, Modern Family one of my all-time favorites :D

Parks & Recreation I was actually just trying recently, but after 4th episode I've strongly mixed feelings about it. It just seems a bit... I don't know, overdone? Too awkward?

Castle is great, I'm up to date with that. New Girl also.

But the B in Apt 13, I've tried it and I hated it. It was so full of annoying cliches I just couldn't enjoy it. Does it get better later or is this just their kind of humor?

Happy Endings is hilarious and underappreciated. Raising Hope and Bob's Burgers are also funny. If you have Netflix, The IT Crowd and Spaced.

I don't watch a lot of comedies except for the Big Bang Theory.

I liked Weeds. Also think about Entourage. That was pretty good and funny.

Cheers! It's the greatest sitcom ever, you can't go wrong. (Don't listen to those Seinfeld fans, they don't know what they're talking about)

As previously mentioned, Happy Endings is a terrific little show.

Rules of Engagement is pretty good too and Scrubs as well. Suburgatory is also easy to follow and watch an episode every now and then.

I thought the second season was a lot better than the first.

Old now, but I enjoyed That 70's Show.

If you haven't watched it yet, Whose Line Is It Anyways. Preferably the American version (it's one of the few English shows that got better after coming to the US). Very funny improv comedy sketch series.

If you like drama and action, the new CW series, Arrow, has been pretty solid.

I'd say Sons of Anarchy, but their season just ended. Justified is a great show - starts around first of January.

Hmm... summarizing the answers a bit (for my sake mostly :D):

Friends, seen it.

Happy Endings, seen it.

Raising Hope, list it.

Bob's Burgers, list it.

Weeds, seen it but it was not a comedy! And it was pretty addictive o.o I don't know what was funny about it and why is it said to be a comedy.

Entourage, list it.

Cheers, list it.

Rules of Engagement, hated it.

Scrubs, seen it.

Suburgatory, seen it.

Curb Your Enthusiasm, list it.

Arrested Development, seen it.

The Office, hated it.

House, loved it but got bored of it.

Eureka, heard it's pretty addictive.

My Name is Earl, list it.

The Goodies, list it.

Psych, seen it.

The rest were some big plot-shows that could nail me to the desk for hours so out of question :D

Thanks for the recommendations, off to research them and see what could be good for me ^^

If you want 20 minutes of mindless fun, there's always Family Guy. American Dad is more satirical, but I like it more.

There's Wilfred. Or, if you have Netflix, Father Ted, IT Crowd, Desmond's, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Robot Chicken, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Venture Bros, Harvey Birdman...

Firefly. Even if you DO get addicted there are only 14 episodes.

Wonderfalls, ditto.

Sherlock, also ditto. There are only 6 episodes. But I warn you, if you do watch Sherlock you can't do anything else. It requires all your attention.
