It's my mom's birthday, it made it very easy to remember. I bought her a dozen roses, an Olive Olay cream and a gift card. It made her happy and she cooked zitti. After that I went to do zen meditation, and I got a chance to speak one on one with my sensei for the first time. It was a wonderful day today.

Watched Survivor. Read a decent book. Pretended that every figure my daughter made out of a bit of silly putty was amazing.
