I'll say Circle of Enemies by Harry Connolly, but Alchemist of Souls by AW's own Anne Lyle came in a veeeeery close second.

The Man with the Golden Torc by Simon R. Green

The funniest book of the year?
The Feedstore Chronicles by Travis Erwin

Your favorite literary character this year?
Cale from Paul Hoffman's The Left Hand of God was definitely the most memorable, although I'd never want to meet him!

All the rest of the categories are pretty much "does not apply" for me.

Never would I have thought Hunger Games worth picking up but I was wrong.

Your favorite read of the year?: Katja From The Punk Band by Simon Logan. Happened upon it by sheer chance.

Your favorite author of the year?: I discovered Margaret Atwood this year, so it would have to be her.

Your most read author of the year?: Again, Margaret Atwood. I've been working through her back catalogue.

Your favorite book cover of the year?: Any of the Andrea Camelleri "Montalbano" series. I love the artwork.

The book you abandoned (if there was more than one, the one you read least of)?: Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Life's too short.

The book that most disappointed you?: Her Fearful Symmetry by Whatsit Niffinegger.

Your favorite children's book this year?: Same as every year: Moominland Midwinter by Tove Jansson.

Your favorite classic of the year?: If it can be considered a classic, Brighton Rock by Graham Greene.
