Four years ago today, I sent out my first agent query letter. Three novels and several hundred query letters with the same amount of rejections and no-responses later, I had reached my limit.
Instead of giving up, I decided to submit directly to publishers. In May, I got an offer from Crimson Romance to publish my fantasy romance, WICKED PARADISE, 4 years after my first novel was published in eBook format. Things began to look up! In July, my first novel finally went to print when I thought it never would.
Meanwhile, I had submitted my YA contemporary novel to the YA imprint of a well-established traditional publisher. Two days ago, I received an offer from them!!! Now, I needed that agent.
After a whirlwind two days, I’m now represented by Natalie Lakosil of Bradford Literary!
Never give up, never surrender!!
