Hi, my name is Angela and I am currently about 30,000 words into my first novel. It is a contemporary christian romance novel. I would love to have a romance reader, possibly a reader of christian romance to take a look at some of my work before I get too far. We could start with the first chapter or two to see if we are compatable. I am looking for oppinions on story line and character structure, as well as grammer and such if you are willing (if not, I will be happy with any input I can get).
I am willing to swap or be reading buddies with another writer. I mostly read romance, contemporary, histroical, christian or secular. I love it all. :)

Hi Pen,

Most beta readers prefer to read a completed, edited, polished novel rather than a WIP. But Share Your Work (the critique workshop here on Absolute Write) is a great place to get feedback on your work at every stage, and to give feedback in turn to other writers. Critiquing other people's work is really a great thing to do. Not only are you helping out other people and building up a reputation as "nice person whose work I'll be happy to critique", but it's so much easier to spot mistakes in other people's work -- and then once you've seen the same mistake a dozen times, you gradually become aware you've got the same problem with your own manuscript! So you help yourself at the same time.
