Every now and again, I switch up my internet alias, usually as a side effect of some kind of major shift in the way I perceive myself. So it is really weird and often mildly unpleasant when people refer to me by an old name. And in forums where I'm an entrenched member, I just kind of have to roll with it because people already know me. Absolute Write is kind of a curious case, though, because even though I made this account back when I called myself Maldeus, I didn't start actually using it until I switched over to Chamomile. Probably I should've just made a new account when I returned, but I didn't, and now I don't want to give up my post count because I need 50 posts to get into SYW.
