Can we get a small Queen Victoria smiley holding up a sign (like so = :welcome:) but saying "We are not amused"? :D

I thought there was a thread somewhere which I could add on to the end of with this, but I gave up searching - waaaaaay too many threads to look through...

That'd be a good addition!

I still think we need a "superhero flying" smiley. You know, like a "Here I am to save the day!" sort of thing. :D

Hm. I'm gonna have to hunting for people to make more smileys for us. I like the idea of a superhero one as well...

Do we have anything suitable for a 'you're getting on my last nerve' smiley? Or do we need one?

Hmm. For the end-of-my-nerves type posts this :gaah or this :Headbang: would be appropriate. Unless you can think of something more appropriate.

And I'm still working on that superhero smiley...

The first one looks good. The second one I use for 'you're not listening, why am I bothering to answer you' type trolls.

Actually, imo, this :ban without the sign is 'you're getting on my last nerve....' because that's what my face looks like just before I haul off and punch you in the face.

I don't believe I'm actually going to suggest adding smileys, considering my opinion of smileys.

But Jan Darby and I are having a discussion, and I think she's on to a good idea. We need two smileys, one that says "READ THE STICKIES!" and a second, for those who are really frustrating us or just taking a while to get the message "READ THE STICKIES NOW!!!" I think these two stickies would save immense amounts of time and effort by posters, both within QLH, where we're having the discussion, and in other forums where I've seen the need arrive.

Further, with some work, these could be adapted for those tools who need to go back and read the Newbie warnings. Saving even more time and effort that we shouldn't have to waste.

So if there is some designer who could help Jan and me out, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Jim Clark-Dawe

Heh. If the "Read the stickies NOW" one comes with a twitching eye and a vein in its' forehead ready to explode, it might be a strong enough message that people will take the hint...
