Google Chrome Question

I'm not sure what you mean by "tracking feature."

You can set Chrome to purge your history and delete cookies.

You can opt-out of Google's cookie-based tracking, and use a plug-in for Chrome that blocks various associated Google tracking mechanisms, preserving your opt-out status:

Also: check the many privacy options available to you /your Google account, via the Google Dashboard.

Google Chrome also has Incognito mode (well, every browser has it. In IE, it's "InPrivate browsing), which doesn't save cookies while you do it.

"You can use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS) and ⌘-Shift-N (Mac) to open an incognito window."

ETA: forgot to mention, I do prefer the Chrome browser over others, when it works. Sometimes (might have to do with updating), I do have problems with pages loading.

Is the plug-in free to use?

Alright, I just downloaded Chrome, and I got the Opt-Out and Ghostery(with GhostRank) extensions.

How do you make it delete the browsing history and etc. when you close it?

This link, if opened in Chrome, will get you to the right screen: chrome://settings/content

Right above the first two buttons is a check box labelled, "Clear cookies and other site and plug-in data when I close my browser". That box, when checked, should do it.

You say you've downloaded some plugins on this front. I really like ScriptNo.
