This past weekend I ran (with some jogging/walking tossed in to catch my breath lol) my first 8K. I had been on a journey to get healthy and lose quite a bit of weight. I originally started out weighing 350lbs and am down to 275. I started out using the Couch to 5K. I could barely jog 100 yards and now I can jog/run about 1.5 miles before having to slow down. So.. it's a start.

I was pretty excited to finish this. 5 miles seemed further than I initially thought. Just wanted to share with someone lol. Back to icing my foot lol.
