Mystery Writers Contest

Before anybody scoffs at a mustard mystery, let me say that my friend Carolyn entered a mystery contest based on a particular pen--and won a substantial prize involving an all-expenses-paid trip for two to a movie premier in California, including air fare, a swanky hotel, limo service, and a case of first-rate wine.

Now, Carolyn is quite a good writer--but no better than I am, just different. Maybe I can write a mustard mystery! And win $5,000 I don't have to spend on a trip to a movie premier.
