I'm looking for some good hard-boiled crime novels that take place around that era. I'm toying with the idea of changing my current projects time-period from present day to the 1940's. Horror or any supernatural elements would be welcome as well.
EDIT: I forgot all about Raymond Chandler
, I'll have to check out his Phillip Marlowe novels. Still interested in hearing suggestion's though.
