In the future, however, with the help of a friend from AW, I may start a website dedicated to nature photos...

You should dude. Theyz good.

I took one photography class in highschool and that was it (with an old 35mm). But the digital cameras they have now? Wow, blow me away.

I saw cray's bike go by, but he wasn't riding it at the time:

:O His bike sure can fly, maybe he fell off and became Haggisaurus bait.

Another great photo, SK. Thanks for sharing your photos with us. :)

I can't help but think of our cray and his bike when I see egrets now, especially when they first take off and are all legs and wings and long neck, wobbling in the most awkward way while straining to gain momentum... :)

Speaking of cray, this would make for a good launch ramp should he ever decide to take up extreme bicycling:

Haha! Flying Snugglebunny. :D

SK, those egret shots are great, but this last gator shot is gorgeous!

Thank you. :)

It was quite warm at the time, so I was surprised to see the gator that far out of the water. He was resting on the same stump as the turtles were in the posts I shared recently.

One more for the road, another egret. I happened to be standing above her as she went by:

I noticed that, and I was wondering how the gator liked his three-turtle dinner.

That is a gorgeous... crocogator.... ??? alligator, crocodile, I can't tell the diff. But he's purty.
It's an alligator (American).

Soup?
Which gator was that Dino? Kind of looks like Charlie.
It's so strange you said that, as I was thinking the same thing when I viewed that picture. It's not Charlie, as their locations are different and he's a bit older and heavier; but they could be mistaken as twins when seen from afar...

More white egrets. They're one of my favorite subjects, as they are so difficult to capture just right while in flight. They don't soar, so their wings are in constant motion when they're on the move. Some days I'll take more shots of them than I care to admit, and not a single image will turn out even halfway decent; but sometimes I get lucky.

This is the same bird, which gave me quite a few opportunities as she swooped by a number of times one morning recently:

Awesome shots, SK. Just admit it — how many shots do you take? ;)

That blue water looks unreal. Do you use a polarizing filter?
