NaNoWriMo - How Many Words So Far?

Way to go, everyone!

It feels fantastic to finish!

Between transferring my weekend words from my jornada, and staying up late and being off of work today, I added about 10k. I only have 6,000 to go.

I have to work tomorrow but if I get up early, and work on my lunch and after work, I should make it.

I'm at about 35k after having stopped writing for a week +.
15k to go and about 24 hours to do it!
Eek...

About 7K to go for me. Didn't make another birthday win, but a day after birthday will do.

Just keep writing, just keep writing...

41518 is all from Day 29. My back and shoulder are playing up again and I had to leave my desk.

Well, I wrote 782 words of a speech tonight. I'm not counting it towards NaNo - it's got nothing to do with my novel, and it's not like I'm even close to 50k...

But hey, I wrote something.

33633 words for my novel and 16845 for the non-fiction. Didn't validate though, as its not all fiction.

You could be a nano rebel Archer! There is a whole area of the nano forums for rebels so it must be OK. There are people who even do memoirs. Think the point mainly us to write.

I have 2750 left to go.

51007 according to program word count, 50119 according to NNWM validator!

Final count: 77,128. Personal best on 8 for 8.

I wasn't sure if I would win, but I wrote something like 8k or 9k in the last 24 hours, and finished (got to 50,000 and change) 15 minutes before midnight. I even kinda sorta ended the story, which is a big plus. Maybe I should add one of those winner banners to my sig. I do have story details and whatnot in my sig link.

I'm happy with my 15k. The way I look at it is that even though this is my 3rd NaNo and first fail, it's also the busiest I've ever been during NaNo.

After I wrote my first novel, I landed a telemarketing job. For the 6 months I was there, I didn't write a single word... And now during a job with comparable amounts of busyness and stress, I've written 15k in one month.

So it's all good.

Well I say congrats to everyone for mega words all the way around.

If I could write 10k a day every day like I did on the days I had a chance to write this month I could write an epic in a month. LOL Not.

My daughter finished at 95k, This weekend, housecleaning and holiday decor.

Congratulations everyone!! To beat a dead horse, you're that many more words into your story than you were a month ago. I didn't finish my story, so it's onward to DecNano ... and JanNano ... and FebNano...
