What things cross your mind that give you that "warm and fuzzy feeling?"

One thing that comes to mind is sitting by a crackling fire while it's snowing out, and drinking hot chocolate from a brown (yes a brown) mug.

Others?

The memory of coming up from underwater at the beach at age 6, making eye contact with a boy who had the deepest blue eyes I've ever seen, and hearing him giggle.

35 years later, it still warms my heart.

Completely sideways, man
Being snuggly on the sofa with hubby and watching a movie while the wind howls outside.

Waking up in the middle of the night wondering why I'm so toasty, and then realizing it's because there's a pair of almost-six-year-olds snuggled up against me.

Baby animals. Humans, sure, but most infant mammals elicit the same "Awww" feeling. I'm pretty sure Mother Nature hard-wires that into us.

Maryn, noting that very small snakes are no less creepy than bigger ones

Willie Nelson says (something like), "Do you know why God made babies so cute? So we won't kill them". :)

Funny this thread should crop up, as 'warm' and 'fuzzy' were the exact words I used to describe the feeling I got yesterday when:

A friend of mine, GT came up to me and said, "Do you remember when you had MH staying with you this spring? Well I got talking to her and she was saying how hospitable you were, that you couldn't do enough and she was amazed at your kindness. I always meant to tell you, because I think when someone says something nice about you, it's good to know, isn't it? But she said you were so hospitable and made sure she had everything she needed."

Aww. :D

Mine's kind of like that.
One of my favorite warm and fuzzy feelings comes from someone paying a compliment from a long time ago that helped them get through something. It is especially nice when whatever it was seemed quite inconsequential at the time, or is something I do all the time and don't think too much about doing.

That, and remembering being woken up in the hospital in the stillness of the night when my boys were newly born to feed them. That connection between two people for no other reason than just being. They couldn't earn my love, or not earn my love- it was just there.

Seeing my doggie at our screen door first thing in the morning, waiting to be let into the house. And hearing him grunt contently when he's been given a rub-down :)

The sound of rain on the roof while I'm in bed with my hubby in the afternoon...

Waking up to my little buddy (my son) in the bed next to me...

My dog snoring on the floor next to me...

Just a few *grin*

Inside my head most times!
Warm and Fuzzy? Hmm...
A lot of what you all have said, but I'll break it down.
a. Kissing an infant on puffy lil' cheeks. (they always smell so good)
b. Watching the snow fall through a large window pane, while sipping hot cocoa
c. Cotton Jammies and fresh just washed bed linen with a jumbo pillow
d. Barnes and Noble early around 8ish, before the crowd arrives, a venti cafe mocha, and a corner to snuggled in one of those well sunken sofas.
e. Summer Breezes
f. Children playing
f. A man that can cook for me! ( aww... well that's a wish!):)

Notice, he said dryer. Not the wash...
Well, why would I put them in the wash when they haven't even developed any holes yet?
