In June I published the first of a connected series of five planned novellas on Kindle. Because the stories are about a group of 15-18 year old girls, I put it in Children's since there was no YA section.
As a bit of a background, the story contains a bit of violence, a little sex (nothing explicit), and a few very graphic scenes.
I'm thinking that was a mistake. The people who have complimented the book the most are adults. Also, I believe it is buried in the children's section.
So tell me... Has anyone re-categorized their e-published pieces? Good result? Bad result?
