I wrote my first humor piece

I'd really love some feedback from someone-- anyone. And by feedback, I mean criticism (grammatical, or otherwise)! Also, if it's not especially funny, tell me!

This might belong in the Beta Readers forum, but I don't know how many humor writers go in there.

I'd be willing to try if it's reasonably short. (Otherwise, I agree to do a few thousand words, but if I get bored, to stop critiquing.) Feel free to shoot me a PM.

Could I try taking a look at it? I'm new to this forum but have had many years experience laughing.

P.S. I've written a fair amount over the years but am trying to learn how everybody gets their stuff published, my stuff keeps piling up.

why not submit in syw? you've got a high enough post count, and 700 words would probably give you a world of good feedback.
