Yes, I'm a newbie, and proud of it!

This is my first time here, I've never lurked before. I happened to be searching for tips on freelance writing and found this site. I'm very happy that I have! I really don't have any idea how to go about becoming a professional freelance writer, so I need all of the help I can get!
