I just saw the AP story about her death. I don't know when it actually came out, but she died last Saturday.

Are there any other discussions on AW about this?

I enjoyed her Cat Who books quite a lot when I was younger. She will be missed!

I've never read any of her titles, but when I worked in a bookshop her books were always good sellers.

Oh, that's too bad. I think she must have been quite ill, because her latest book was cancelled.

*meows sad salute*

But she'll be reunited with her Kokos that went before, IMHB.

(The day she died, I'd started rereading her work with book #1.)

My son and I will miss her a lot. We loved the 'Cat Whos'

I used to go through "Pick Axe" on the way up North.

RIP Lillian.
