"There is/are way too many for just us."

What is correct?

:yessmileyI got here first.

I believe it is: There ARE way too many for just us.

You are referring to 'many', and that is more than one.

What is correct?

"many" refers to a multiple objects, therefore the plural form of the verb is correct. ("much" refers to something that can't be counted, use the singular form of the verb with 'much')

There are too many people in the club.

There is too much oil in the pan.

What is correct?

We were overwhelmed by the number of ways to solve the problem and knew we had neither the time nor energy to try each one.

Incorrect. There are never enough.

Or maybe it's There IS never enough.

use the plural if the noun can be counted. Use the singular for a non-count noun (soup, happiness etc)

There are never enough men.
There is never enough soup.
