Great Fool: Zen Master Ryōkan; Poems, Letters, and Other Writings – Ryokan, Ryuichi Abe & Peter Haskel, translators (Ryōkan Taigu is the ordained name of Yamamoto Eizō (1758–1831). Taigu means great fool. He is my favorite Japanese poet.)
