If I were to write a memoir, I'd probably get about eight words before I finished: "My name is [Supreme Overlord], and I'm boring," nine if the contraction counts as two.

Congratulations! My father told me once (about something not writing, but oh well) that he was most impressed that I was actually doing it! I've got lots of wishful thinking and too little actual doing. I'm very impressed.

I'm a writer who pontificates verbally as well as in written word more than what's good for me {or any other unfortunate soul who finds him/herself within a mile radius}.

10,000 is excellent, though! I'm proofing and editing a story that I'd written within a year, and what totals 140,000 words. lol I can gas on like you wouldn't believe!
